Bobby Revell carries on a proud family tradition of service in law enforcement. His great-grandfather served as Sheriff, and his grandmother dedicated her career to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, retiring as a Sheriff’s assistant. This deep-rooted family legacy inspired Undersheriff Revell to pursue a career as a lawman.
Undersheriff Revell brings extensive experience to his role, having served in various capacities such as patrol deputy, patrol supervisor, drug investigator, and major crime investigator.
He also served as a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). During his time with FDLE, he was involved in major crime investigations, including homicides and officer-involved shootings, and assisted local agencies with complex cases. Additionally, he assisted on the Governor’s Protection Detail, ensuring the safety of Governor Ron DeSantis and his family.
Upon returning to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, Undersheriff Revell took on the role of Captain, overseeing patrol and investigations for the past four years.
Undersheriff Revell is a graduate of the Florida Sheriff’s Association Commanders Academy Class 12.
